Melodia Restaurant opened in West Hollywood in February 2025 with one mission: to bring the authentic flavors of Russian, Ukrainian, and European cuisine to Los Angeles. Located at 7300 W Sunset Blvd - in the heart of West Hollywood - Melodia is more than a restaurant. It's a culinary experience rooted in tradition, reimagined for the modern table. Our goal is simple: to create a welcoming place where guests can enjoy comfort food, discover new flavors, and leave with lasting memories.
Our Family Story
Melodia is our family restaurant in West Hollywood. We’re Vladimir and Natalia, and we’ve built it together around the food, traditions, and hospitality we love. Vladimir leads the kitchen and develops our menu. Natalia works on the experience around it, from the restaurant’s look and presentation to its photography, stories, and ideas. Our teenage sons bring their own ideas and help with the website, design, and creative projects. Melodia truly is a family effort.
Many dishes on our menu began at our own family table. Some come from Vladimir’s mother, others from Natalia’s family. They are the flavors we grew up with, cooked at home for years, and wanted to share with our guests. That’s how a part of our family kitchen became Melodia. The same personal touch extends to our bar. Alongside our cocktails, we serve Vladimir’s signature house infusions, including horseradish, walnut, sour cherry, and cranberry. Each has its own character and gives guests another way to discover the flavors we love.
Whether these dishes remind you of home or you’re tasting them for the first time, we hope you’ll feel welcome at our table.
Our Kitchen
Everything at Melodia is made by hand. Every dumpling - whether pelmeni, varenyky, or khinkali - is shaped by hand daily. Our borscht is made from scratch with fresh beets. Our blini are handmade in-house. Our pasta is freshly prepared every day. We believe great food tells a story. The story of a grandmother's recipe. A Sunday table. The warmth of Eastern European hospitality.

Melodia offers a full menu of Russian, Ukrainian and European classics: handmade pelmeni and vareniki, traditional borscht, beef stroganoff, lamb chops, premium caviar dishes, fresh pasta, and handcrafted blini. Our full bar features a curated wine list with wines from California, France, Italy and beyond along with a selection of the finest hard liquor and beer.
